Create A Colorful Wedding

March 9th, 2010 · No Comments · Relationships: Wedding

Standard white marriages intensified by blossoms of the same color have been the norm for a number of years. this time begs for a little inspiration and experimentation by adding healthy shots of color. And what better way to add the right tones then by choosing colorful flowers.

Consider this, the bouquet of the bride has often been made from white flowers but if you are about to bring color in your life, you should start with this bouquet. There’s not much of a difficulty here, you can still have the same basic design of flowers with long stems tied in a neat bundle but you need to tie only white flowers in it. Use red roses, white lilies and some leaves to get in the green color.

If this isn’t where you need to stop, you are able to add carnations. The advantage of carnations is that they come in a variety of colors. Prepare the bridal bouquet of carnations only but include carnations of pink, yellow, orange, red, white or any other possible color you want.

You can also use different tones of an identical color for flowers. In this case, its silk wedding flowers give you more opportunity to play with shades rather then their natural variety of blossoms.

You may also use different shades of a matching color to add texture to your wedding décor. For instance, if you’re using purple you can incorporate all shades of the hue from deep purple to lilac and all that lie between. Not only will this add texture to your dcor, it will also set a color theme.

To make your wedding even more crowd pleasing you can choose to try experimenting with the more bizarre color combinations. Try orange and pink, purple and green or red or chocolate brown and such like. these uncommon color combos will make your wedding the discussion of the town.

A good example of unusual combinations is highly contrasting colours, say orange and pink or green and purple. The color intensity of these mixes is what makes them so effective. For a bright, in your face effect, select all bright colours like the 2nd. For a washed out look, select contrasting light colours, say sky blue and light pink.

Remember you need not overdo it. Use some leaves and foliage to add the green tint. Nothing comforts human eyes more than green color. You will need it!

You can further jazz up your décor by dividing the room into to two parts and decorating them with separate flower colours on each side. your floral display should be kept consistent foe both sides. You may need to use blooms of contrasting colours for added drama such as orange and yellow or pink and blue.

Try these concepts and make your wedding colorful.
